Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bus Person to join our team at Silverado Resort and Spa. As a Bus Person, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist servers during meal periods, ensuring prompt and efficient service to our guests.
  • Unload trays in the dish machine area and reset tables as needed.
  • Keep tables and service stations clean, neat, and supplied at all times.
  • Assist with cleaning spills and completing assigned side work.
  • Responsible for complete bus station set-up, including water, bread, and serving water and bread to guests.
  • Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
Requirements
  • In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.
Working Conditions and Schedule
  • Long hours sometimes required.
  • Medium work - Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 15 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time during customary service hours.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop or reach as needed.
