Overview:
Aveanna Healthcare is in search of experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to oversee ABA-focused early intervention clinics and classrooms. These facilities will deliver Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children aged 3-5, closely integrated with early intervention initiatives.


This comprehensive program is designed to facilitate a smooth transition from pre-school special education environments to clinic settings, fostering ongoing skill enhancement.


Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Tailored Treatment Planning

Initial Evaluation:
Perform thorough evaluations utilizing assessment tools such as the VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program).

Customized Treatment Plans (CTP):
Create individualized plans for each child based on evaluation outcomes, focusing on unique needs, objectives, and strengths. Review and revise these plans on a quarterly basis.
Behavioral Strategies

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA):
Execute evidence-based strategies including Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Natural Environment Training (NET), and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT).

Positive Behavior Support (PBS):
Implement proactive methods to encourage positive behaviors and mitigate challenging behaviors, incorporating Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
Skill Development Programs

Communication Enhancement:


Improve both verbal and non-verbal communication skills using techniques such as the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices through a verbal behavior framework.


Social Skills Development:
Organize structured playgroups, peer modeling sessions, and social narratives to promote interaction and social comprehension.

Adaptive Skills Training:
Offer instruction in daily living activities (ADLs), such as dressing, feeding, and toileting, to encourage independence.
Data Management and Progress Tracking

Real-Time Data Management:
Continuously gather data on target behaviors and skills utilizing digital tools and software for effective monitoring.

Regular Progress Evaluations:
Hold weekly team discussions to review progress, update CTPs, and modify interventions as necessary.

Completion of Daily Clinical Documentation:
Maintain comprehensive records and finalize daily clinical notes to ensure accurate documentation and facilitate billing for services.
Family Engagement and Training

Parent Training Initiatives:
Facilitate workshops and individualized training sessions to equip parents with ABA techniques and strategies.

Home-Based Support Services:
Extend clinic programs into the home setting through regular consultations and support.
Collaborative Framework

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:


Work in coordination with BCBAs, Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and special education professionals.


Integrated Service Delivery:
Ensure cohesive collaboration with early intervention programs to maintain consistency across various environments.
Supervision and Mentorship

BHT Oversight:
Provide guidance and training to Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs), ensuring effective implementation of CTPs and application of ABA methodologies.
Service Implementation

Service Provision:
Deliver the specified amount of services as outlined in each child's Customized Treatment Plan (CTP).


Qualifications:
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related discipline.
Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA).
Experience in conducting evaluations and formulating individualized treatment plans for young children facing developmental and behavioral challenges.
Strong grasp of ABA principles and methodologies, including DTT, NET, and PRT.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Proficiency in data collection and analytical tools.

Qualifications:
Experience in a school or clinical environment with early intervention programs.
