Position Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Recreational Activities Coordinator to join our team. This role involves planning and implementing a variety of engaging programs and activities tailored for our residents.
Work Schedule:
Tuesday through Saturday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation:
Starting wage of $23.00/hr, commensurate with experience. Employees working 24+ hours per week are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee educational programs, fitness classes, social gatherings, spiritual activities, outings, and personalized experiences for residents in a rehabilitation setting.
Qualifications:
- Degree or relevant experience in a related field.
- Passion for engaging with the elderly population.
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan and manage activities for diverse groups.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel for creating activity flyers, reminders, calendars, and newsletters.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist other departments as needed.
- Creative spirit with a desire to enhance activities with unique and meaningful details.
- Flexibility to accommodate special events during evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, volunteers, vendors, and visitors.
