- Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet operational demands, work efficiently to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, and ensure quick turnaround of dishes and utensils for the kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team and communicate effectively to ensure a cohesive and efficient work environment, and assist in coordinating dishwashing and cleaning duties to meet operational needs.
- Be flexible and adapt to changing work demands, and be willing to assist in different areas of the kitchen as required, including assisting with food delivery, storage, or other kitchen-related tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen assistant is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper dishwashing techniques and sanitation practices.
- Ability to handle a high volume of dishwashing and cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Good communication skills to interact with kitchen staff and other team members effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as kitchen operations may operate on extended hours.
