Job Title: Clubhouse Program Manager

NAMI San Diego & Imperial Counties is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals affected by mental illnesses. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clubhouse Program Manager to lead our Plaza Clubhouse in Chula Vista.

Job Summary:

The Clubhouse Program Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Plaza Clubhouse, ensuring adherence to program deliverables and effective implementation of the Clubhouse International Model. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of psychosocial rehabilitation principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee business and administrative planning, effective use of resources, staff supervision and development, program reporting, and evaluation of progress towards deliverables.
  • Assure program integrity and fidelity to International Clubhouse Standards, ensuring the highest quality of services are provided.
  • Provide leadership and vision to the Clubhouse members and staff, upholding the integrity of the Clubhouse International Model.
  • Oversee quality of all program components, including Work-Ordered Day programming, employment and education services, community support, social opportunities, and SSI Advocacy.
  • Participate in Transitional Employment Development and strengthen employer relationships for Clubhouse. Fill in as needed for transitional employment sites.
  • Collaborate with community partners and Advisory Board members to promote growth and development of Clubhouse and its standards.
  • Communicate in a timely fashion with COR via all of the following: mail, email, fax, telephone, and voicemail.
  • Participate in scheduled provider meetings to further development of an integrated system of care.
  • Review/monitor data collection and reporting, ensuring adherence to documentation requirements.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in cultural and linguistic competency, co-occurring disorders, gender responsiveness and trauma-informed care practices.
  • Participate in Clubhouse evening, weekend, and holiday events. Model positive relationship building.
  • Complete all trainings in a timely manner as required by NAMI SD/IC in accordance with our program contract.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Anthropology, Public Health; OR four years' related experience and/or training in key leadership roles, preferably in non-profit setting; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least two years of supervisory experience in a similar work setting.
  • Professional experience working with individuals impacted by mental illness required. Prefer lived experience with mental illness.
  • Must have a satisfactory driving record.
  • Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion principles and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Proficiency in computer software (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel) and web navigation.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Reliable and consistent attendance is required.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
Accountability:

Reports to the Director of Clubhouses.

Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
