Job Title: Pharmacy Director

AdaptHealth LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Director to lead our pharmacy fulfillment site operation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing pharmacy staff, and optimizing pharmacy services to meet the needs of patients and healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and protocols in compliance with federal and state regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead and manage pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations to ensure a competent and motivated team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives such as medication safety programs, adverse event reporting, and medication utilization evaluations.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments and healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of medications, ensuring accurate inventory management and safe medication practices.
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD) is required.
  • Eight (8) years of prior Pharmacy experience is required.
  • Two (2) years leadership experience required.
  • Valid and unrestricted Pharmacist license required in the state(s) of practice.
  • Registered with the applicable Board of Pharmacy and in good standing.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Mental alertness and ability to analyze large amounts of data and report in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, stretch, stand, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and/or fingers due to extensive computer use.
