Land Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Surveyor to join our team at GPAC. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our surveying and engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with our team to coordinate survey work and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide guidance on the preparation of survey plans and drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Review and sign survey drawings, subdivision or condominium plats, and other related documents.
  • Write and/or review legal descriptions and other survey documents, utilizing your expertise to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Analyze client needs and prepare technical proposals, showcasing your ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Assist in the management of projects, leveraging your technical expertise to drive success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in surveying or a related field is preferred.
  • PLS or LSIT certification in California is required.
  • All experience levels are encouraged to apply, with a minimum of SIT certification.
  • Excellent technical writing, computer, and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Calson and GIS software is necessary.
  • Ability to access and understand legal records and field notes.
  • Ability to operate calculator, computer, and equipment.
  • Ability to interpret legal descriptions and field notes.
  • Ability to effectively communicate findings and make recommendations.
  • Ability to compose and write clear and concise reports and legal descriptions.
