Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team as an Assistant Nurse Manager. In this role, you will assist the Nurse Manager in the clinical and administrative activities of the department, ensuring the provision of quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor nursing and technical personnel, assessing their competency and overseeing daily staffing and scheduling needs.
  • Participate in hiring, promotion, and termination decisions, and function as a role model, demonstrating quality expertise and professional behaviors.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor performance improvement and patient safety initiatives, and identify strategies to improve the overall knowledge base and professionalism of staff.
  • Analyze administrative and operational functions, implementing appropriate changes and system-wide improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, with a Master's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
  • Three years' appropriate acute care, clinical experience required, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Appropriate clinical certification required.
