Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security and Safety Officer to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect potential security threats
  • Monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment to ensure the property is secure
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents, providing first aid and CPR as needed
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Complete incident reports and maintain confidentiality of all security-related incidents
  • Follow company policies and procedures, reporting accidents and injuries to management
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and guests
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior work experience necessary, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, with occasional lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer service
