Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees, while also maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and detect crime
  • Assist guests with room access and respond to emergencies
  • Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems to ensure the security of the property
  • Lock and unlock property entrances as needed
  • Conduct daily physical hazard inspections to identify potential safety risks
  • Respond to accidents and administer first aid/CPR as needed
  • Assist guests and employees during emergency situations
  • Notify management of any incidents or safety concerns
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • No prior work experience necessary, but a positive attitude and strong work ethic are essential
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move quickly in response to emergencies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
