About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Management Analyst, Senior to join our team at the City of Richmond, VA. As a key member of our Gas Division, you will be responsible for providing training and support to our gas operators and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for gas operators and technicians
  • Provide hands-on training and testing for gas operators and technicians
  • Assist with the development and implementation of gas safety procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical support and guidance to gas operators and technicians
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of specialized training or technical training beyond high school preferred
  • Five years of related work experience required; experience in gas operations and training preferred
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal codes and regulations regarding gas distribution systems
  • Knowledge of workforce training methods and gas system components and materials
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • American Petroleum Institute (API)

  • Pipeline Safety Management Systems (PSMS)
  • Operator Qualification (OQ) knowledge of gas pipe installation practices
