Community Outreach Liaison

PACE Southeast Michigan is seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Sales Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for generating new referrals and building relationships with community resources in all service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily appointments, presentations, and follow-up activities, including scheduling appointments, calls, and mailings.
- Report on customer relationship interactions and maintain a sales log.
- Assist with marketing strategies by developing elements essential for business growth.
- Provide administrative support for events, presentations, and trade shows.
- Assist with preparing press releases, media packages, company newsletters, and event announcements.
- Develop a thorough understanding of PACE Southeast Michigan, including all aspects of qualifying new participants.
- Provide support to the Intake department through telephone screening, education, document preparation, facility tours, and coordination of potential participants.
- Recognize and escalate issues to senior team members as needed.
- Work independently and as part of a team, with strong organization skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; 1 year of marketing/sales experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience with the elderly.
- Demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks, track, document, distribute, facilitate, and communicate.
- Ability to make decisions independently, influence others, and resolve issues.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to interact effectively across department lines and with varying levels of management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
- Relevant experience in the healthcare industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet deadlines.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with proof of insurance and an acceptable driving record.
