Position Overview:
Full-time role
Travel required to support radiologic teams on the east coast
ARRT certification preferred; LMRT license considered
25% travel differential for assignments outside home market
Reimbursement for all travel expenses incurred outside the candidate's home market
Shifts available in 8, 10, or 12-hour formats

Key Responsibilities:
Utilizing a company-supplied vehicle to deliver high-quality portable x-rays,

EKGs

and other relevant diagnostic imaging services for patients in various service locations, including private homes, skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities,

correctional

institutions

and other service areas.
Regular travel to different company locations/regions across the country to perform portable x-rays,

EKGs

and other diagnostic imaging services. The travel

component

will not exceed two weeks per month unless previously agreed upon.
Employing x-ray technology to capture radiographic images of patients' bones, tissues, and organs as directed by physicians.
Exhibiting proficiency in conducting portable x-ray examinations following established protocols and procedures.
Clarifying x-ray processes to patients and addressing their inquiries.
Upholding safe work practices

pertinent to

the role; including safe driving, radiation safety, and ALARA principles, infection control, use of

appropriate personal protective equipment; safe handling of x-ray generators and related equipment, vehicle loading/unloading of x-ray apparatus, safely maneuvering portable x-ray units during patient visits, and other tasks associated with the responsibilities of a portable x-ray technologist.Maintaining

an accurate

log of completed x-ray procedures.
Promptly informing management of any damaged or malfunctioning x-ray equipment.
Adhering to all company policies, procedures, protocols, and complying with

all relevant state and federal regulations and standards.
As required,

assisting


with order entry and management, customer service support, validation of studies, dispatching of technologists, report uploads and distribution, communication with radiologists, nursing staff, providers, patients, and other stakeholders as necessary.


Travel Guidelines:
Employees

will be compensated at their regular hourly rate for actual travel time to a different market/area up to a maximum of 8 hours per day, unless otherwise approved by management.Per Diem.

Employees

will receive a fixed daily amount for covering expenses such as meals and other incidental costs while

traveling

on approved company assignments.
Employees

must adhere to company policies and guidelines when making travel and lodging arrangements.

Qualifications:
Must meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including one or more of the following:

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R)
Limited Scope X-ray Operator — in accordance with state-specific requirements
State x-ray license (if applicable)

Successful completion of required background checks.
Must possess effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must demonstrate proficient computer skills to fulfill required duties.

Exhibits professionalism, a friendly demeanor, and a positive attitude when interacting with management, employees, patients, their families, nurses, providers, client staff, and other stakeholders.

Dependable, reliable, and ethical.
Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
Ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, holidays, and weekends.
