Job Summary

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Imaging Service Engineer to join our team. As an Imaging Service Engineer, you will be responsible for performing planned preventive maintenance, calibrations, and electrical safety inspections on imaging and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Assist with diagnostic imaging cross-training of BMET Technicians and confer with manufacturer's representatives to resolve equipment-related problems.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct and compile Quality Assurance records and reports necessary for compliance with specifications and policies.
  • Documentation: Document all significant asset-related actions in compliance with department practices.
  • On-Call Responsibilities: Provide emergency on-call support as required.
  • Research and Procurement: Research and initiate orders for repair parts, working within established budget parameters.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess specialized knowledge in several specialized modalities, including radiology, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, CT, cath. lab., linear accelerators, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Associates degree in Electronics/Imaging Technology, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or military training.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years experience in the repair of radiology equipment and prior biomedical experience.
  • Certification: Prefer certification (CRES) in various modalities.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication and strong customer service skills.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of a BMET III.
