Position Summary: As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, guiding them to appropriate areas and providing clear instructions to facilitate the process.
- Utilize imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' bodies.
- Adjust equipment settings and positioning to meet the specific requirements of each examination, adhering to established safety protocols.
- Implement radiation safety measures to protect both patients and staff during imaging procedures.
- Maintain imaging equipment in optimal working condition, promptly reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform administrative tasks related to imaging, including managing patient records and maintaining accurate logs.
- Ensure adequate inventory of imaging supplies is available for efficient operation.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Radiologic Technologist license.
- ARRT certification is mandatory.
