Job Summary

Resurgens Orthopaedics is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic MRI studies in a safe and efficient manner, while delivering exceptional customer service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI scans and ensure accurate image capture
  • Screen patients and others entering the MRI area to ensure a safe environment
  • Send images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
  • Arrive patients in Resurgens' computer system(s)
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • ARRT registration in good standing
  • Experience with GE and Siemens magnets preferred
Physical Demands

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be required to sit, stand, walk, reach, and talk, with occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. The employee must be able to lift, push, and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Work Environment

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist may be exposed to risk of infectious diseases when interacting with patients and/or family members. The employee may also be occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration.
