Ultrasound Technologist Job Description
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled professional to perform diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations
- Operate ultrasonic equipment to produce high-quality images
- Document patient assessment and history
- Enter and complete patient information into the Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Prepare films for interpretation by radiologists
- Engage with healthcare providers to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care
Requirements:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved ultrasonography program
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
- Minimum one year of experience in ultrasonography
