- Conduct detailed risk assessments in industrial and non-industrial work areas, with special emphasis on occupational health risk assessments of occupational exposures to chemical and physical hazards.
- Conduct various qualitative and quantitative surveys and make measurements for industrial ventilation, noise, air contaminants, and other potential workplace hazards.
- Perform hazardous noise surveys and personal noise dosimetry studies to document the designation of hazardous noise areas and justify or validate placing workers on the occupational noise program.
- Inspect, test, and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices to ensure they follow all applicable standards and government regulations in accordance with requirements.
- Assist in monitoring environmental conditions, including the collection of water samples for compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act, swimming pool and bathing area water quality evaluations, and program compliance.
