Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Ledgent Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving implementation of continuous improvement principles throughout the organization, developing and maintaining production processes, and presenting opportunities for process improvement to leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Implement continuous improvement principles to drive process excellence and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain production processes to ensure high-quality products and efficient operations.
  • Present process improvement opportunities and recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Utilize data analytics and statistical analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering and 5-8 years of operations experience, including auditing, operations analysis, and successful implementation of performance enhancement initiatives. The candidate should have vast experience in lean tools such as Standard Work, 5S, Visual Management, Kanban, Material Routes, Level Loading, and Poka-yoke, as well as problem-solving methodologies such as 8Ds, Kepner and Tregoe, Shainin, Red X, and Six Sigma.

The ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents is essential. The candidate should also be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Effective communication and interface with diverse audiences is critical, as is the ability to motivate and inspire others to take the initiative to make things better.
