Process Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at Houston Methodist West Hospital. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will be responsible for leading the execution and implementation of performance improvement initiatives to enhance quality of care and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead interdisciplinary teams in the development and implementation of process improvement projects
- Collaborate with other departments to monitor use of resources and identify opportunities for cost reduction
- Design, develop, and implement project plans related to strategic quality and safety initiatives
- Provide oversight of projects to ensure desirable outcomes are met
- Utilize data analysis software to analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or health sciences required; master's degree preferred
- Three years of experience in quality improvement or performance improvement methodology, project participation, and data analysis software
- Lean management or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred
