Job Title: Process Improvement Specialist, Energy Supply Chain

At BIP US, we are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Specialist to join our team in the Energy sector. As a key member of our consulting team, you will lead process improvement initiatives for Supply Chain and Field Operations, driving sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Management: Develop and implement project plans, including timelines and milestones, to assess and document existing Supply Chain and Field Operations processes and create to-be process diagrams.
  • Assist process owners and improvement/stakeholder teams in the definition, documentation, measurement, analysis, improvement, and control of business processes.
  • Develop process documentation to support operational aspects for clients and monitor the delivery of system requirements to ensure effective support.
  • Coordinate with various teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management in the energy sector.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments, maintaining a focus on delivering value and achieving project objectives.
Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for process-oriented stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  • Facilitate collaboration between internal and external teams, ensuring all project goals and requirements are met.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of process improvement experience, preferably within the energy sector.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle ERP, specifically in the areas of supply chain management and field operations.
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices and their application in the energy sector.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Can communicate effectively with tech and non-tech teammates.
Location and Work Setup:
  • The role is based in Houston, Texas, with a hybrid work model (office presence required a few times a week).
  • Candidates must have valid US work authorization and reside within a 50-mile commute of Houston.
