Job Summary
The Field Training Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting franchisees to enhance and expand their construction services. This involves assessing the current operational processes and performance of franchises, offering tailored solutions for improvement, assisting in the implementation of the SERVPRO Operating System for construction, and providing expert guidance to address franchise challenges.

This position is essential for fostering a cohesive and consistent network of construction providers.

Your Responsibilities
~ Collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations to meet construction growth objectives in assigned regions.
~ Assess the current construction processes and performance of franchises, utilizing business intelligence as needed. Engage in listening, investigating, and analyzing issues and potential areas for enhancement through onsite visits, webinars, and phone consultations.
~ Offer guidance to resolve franchise issues, boost performance, and accelerate growth.
~ Assist franchises in implementing the SERVPRO construction Operating System, focusing on business development, staff training, process optimization, and adherence to SERVPRO Performance Standards for Construction.
~ Cultivate trust and credibility within the franchise community, fostering effective and collaborative relationships.
~ Document and report potential areas for improvement in the Operating System based on implementation challenges or identification of best practices.
~ Conduct evaluations of franchises to ensure uniform and consistent service delivery.

Your Qualifications
~ Experience in residential or light commercial construction, with a focus on business management and project oversight.
~ Previous experience as a general manager or owner of a construction firm is preferred.
~ Essential skills include business management, influencing abilities, multitasking, prioritization, excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical capabilities.
~ Leadership qualities, integrity, tact, diplomacy, and a commitment to company values are required.
~ Preferred experience in business consulting and/or training.
~ Advanced knowledge of construction processes and intermediate understanding of business practices and performance improvement principles.
~ Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with franchise systems is a plus.
~ A bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a construction management role is preferred.

Working Conditions
~ Fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
~ Remote work flexibility.
~ Standard working hours based on a 40-hour work week, with additional hours as needed to support clients.
~ Travel requirements of 25-50% as necessary for business needs.
