Position Overview:

The Floor Plan Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of vehicle inventories at dealership locations.

Work Schedule:

Standard workdays are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with additional hours as needed to fulfill departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilizes the Personal Audit Device (PAD) to download and conduct thorough inspections of assigned audits, verifying the Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) at dealership sites.
  • Identifies and inspects vehicles that are temporarily off the dealer's lot, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
  • Reviews the Manufacturer's Certificates of Origin for units in transit to the dealership when available.
  • Assesses sold units that are in the process of being paid off, examining the Sales Jacket for relevant details such as sales date and financing method.
  • Conducts inspections on vehicles designated for re-evaluation by the Floor Plan Manager.
  • Checks vehicle titles for proper registration and assignment.
  • Adheres to the responsibilities outlined in the Secured Credit Procedures for Floor Plan Inspectors.
  • Maintains positive relationships with dealership personnel to foster effective communication.
  • Uploads completed audits via the PAD system.
  • Reports any irregularities or potential issues to the Floor Plan Manager promptly.
  • Collaborates effectively with bank staff, demonstrating the ability to work independently while contributing to team success.
Physical Requirements:

This role involves significant physical activity, including kneeling, crawling, and working outdoors. A valid driver's license is required. The job entails a mix of standing, walking, and sitting, with a focus on visual inspection for extended periods. The ability to navigate confined spaces and perform tasks in various weather conditions is essential. Qualifications:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with strong communication skills to maintain professional relationships with customers.

Experience:

Up to two years of relevant experience is preferred.
