Job Title: CWI Inspector

Acuren is seeking a highly skilled CWI Inspector to join our team in Akron, OH.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual and non-destructive examinations of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API standards and ASME codes.
  • Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition to clients.
  • Provide clients with technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment.
  • Offer technical input to clients on welding and metallurgical issues.
  • Provide guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all Acuren and client safe work practices and participate in site safety initiatives.
  • Be willing to travel as needed.
Requirements:
  • Certification in API Standards 510/570.
  • 5-10 years' experience or 2+ years on-site experience.
  • Additional API 653 or CWI certification a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
  • Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.
