CWI Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled CWI Inspector to join our team at Acuren Inspection, Inc. in Akron, OH.

• Perform visual and non-destructive examinations of static and dynamic pressure retaining equipment in accordance with API standards and ASME codes.
• Submit technically accurate reports documenting equipment condition to clients.
• Provide clients with technical recommendations for repair, re-rate, replacement, and/or alteration of plant equipment.
• Collaborate with clients to provide technical input on welding and metallurgical issues.
• Provide guidance on non-destructive examination techniques and procedures.

• Certification of American Petroleum Institute Standards 510/570.
• 5-10 years' experience or 2+ years on-site experience.
• Additional API 653 or CWI certification a plus.
• In-depth working knowledge of API 510/570 and ASME standards.
• Experience working in direct support of petrochemical facility engineers.
