Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer I to join our team at ENTRUST Solutions Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will participate in telecom-based projects, including pole inspections, loading analysis, and identifying make-ready work. You will also collect surface features using GIS and GPS-related tools and software, assist in the initial layout of fiber networks, and identify obstacles and solutions for proposed construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in telecom-based projects, including pole inspections, loading analysis, and identifying make-ready work.
  • Collect surface features using GIS and GPS-related tools and software.
  • Assist in the initial layout of fiber networks.
  • Identify obstacles and solutions for proposed construction.
  • Understand and apply appropriate industry codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Participate in project team calls and accurately report production.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to work in a production environment.
  • Valid driver's license for travel to project sites as needed.
