We are a 13-bed ICU with a 4-bed surgical SICU at a Level 3 Trauma Hospital. Our unit is dedicated to innovation and process improvement, striving for the best patient outcomes. Our patient population includes high-acuity patients requiring intensive monitoring and critical thinking. Scope of WorkAs a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will utilize the nursing process to provide patient-centered care, assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patients. You will work under the direction of the Nurse Leader, adhering to Corewell Health policies and procedures. You will partner with patients and families to develop care plans and provide education, documenting patient progress and learning in the health record.

- Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required within 5 years.
- Graduates from non-accredited nursing schools must have at least one year of acute care experience or two years of experience in a licensed healthcare role, with successful NCLEX licensure examination completion.
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Specialty certification is highly recommended within 2 years.
