Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Manager to join our team in the Continuing Education department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of administrative tasks, including human resources, marketing, finance, and reception duties.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the recruitment process for seasonal employees, including organizing and screening applications and resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate new hire and rehire onboarding, maintaining employee records, and assisting with HR-related paperwork.
- Support marketing initiatives by drafting and distributing marketing materials, including presentations, flyers, and promotional materials.
- Help organize, coordinate, and attend various marketing events and campaigns.
- Assist with collecting outstanding balances and preparing and reviewing finance paperwork to support the Continuing Education/Summer Camp programs.
- Respond to inquiries about Adult and Youth programs via phone, email, and social media.
- Enroll students in the registration system and coordinate miscellaneous tasks and projects to support the smooth operation of Continuing Education and Hofstra Summer Camps.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a multi-functional capacity.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Flexibility and willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
- Experience with recruiting and onboarding preferred.
- Experience with coordinating and organizing events.
- Proficiency with databases, including Microsoft Access.
