Comunilife Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Program Coordinator to lead the Life is Precious program in Long Island, NY. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology and 3-5 years of experience in clinical supervision and administration. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for directing the overall operations of the Life is Precious program, including management, planning, program development, implementation, monitoring, and budgeting. The Coordinator will also perform evaluations, maintain Comunilife policies and procedures, and collaborate with the Sr. Vice President of Programs to ensure quality psychiatric and psychosocial assessments are conducted prior to referral to the Life Is Precious Program. The Program Coordinator will also supervise all program activities and scheduling, ensure that a system of reporting is used to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of the program staff, and track outcome studies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with diverse populations. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for representing the program at community providers, planning and organizing program and family-oriented activities, and managing volunteers/tutors.
