POSITION SUMMARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform cleaning, installation, repair, testing, and maintenance of NOV WFL Brand products at designated service facilities.
  • Relay product malfunctions and feedback to relevant departments.
  • Provide necessary documentation in accordance with NOV WFL protocols.
  • Timely completion and submission of work pack documentation.
  • Service and repair customer-owned items related to Elmar, Anson, and Axelson product lines, as supported by the WFL Aftermarket division.
  • Execute all tasks in compliance with quality assurance procedures and departmental guidelines.
  • Diagnose equipment issues through observation and testing based on schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed with attention to quality, maintaining a clean and organized workspace to prevent damage during assembly and testing.
  • Actively engage in training sessions as directed by the Service Manager.
  • Dismantle equipment to extract parts for repair.
  • Inspect all components for signs of corrosion, defects, breakage, or excessive wear when addressing specific reported issues.
  • Request necessary parts, including custom-fabricated components, and install them according to provided instructions and drawings, making adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct pressure and functionality tests on repaired equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Participate in additional tasks as assigned by the District/Branch or Service Manager/Supervisor.
  • Adhere to all NOV Company and health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work environment, employing safe work practices.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with product lines such as Wireline WPCE, Flowline, and Surface Safety Valves.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with rig and completion well site operations is advantageous.
  • Preferred background in pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Must pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Willingness to work overtime and be on-call (Standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm).
  • Valid Driver's License required (Company Vehicle operation as necessary).
  • Ability to interpret and apply assembly drawings and procedures.
  • Experience operating test pumps and equipment.
  • Capability to operate cranes and forklifts as needed.
  • Ability to follow written or verbal instructions effectively.
  • Competence in addressing problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently.
  • Flexibility to adapt and be cross-trained in various job functions.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a factory setting with significant temperature variations.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, push/pull, and perform repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily.
  • Regularly lift weights up to 50 lbs.
