Position Overview

Peraton is seeking a Graphic Designer to contribute to the Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program, delivering top-tier cyber and technology security solutions to enhance secure business operations.

Work Environment:
Location: Hybrid role, based in Rosslyn, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take charge of the creation, enhancement, and integration of cybersecurity visuals for the organization.
  • Collaborate with project managers to gather essential project details, including background information, objectives, and graphic production factors.
  • Engage in brainstorming sessions with team members to generate innovative ideas and solutions for print, web, and interactive media.
  • Transform stakeholder concepts into compelling visuals and graphics that effectively communicate project messages while adhering to brand standards.
  • Produce unique content across print and digital platforms using various design techniques, including color, typography, illustration, and photography.
  • Enhance user experience on websites through effective media and graphic elements, improving existing content and creating new pages.
  • Oversee the development of illustrative materials such as icons, infographics, and diagrams.
  • Independently manage and advocate for project solutions, ensuring successful planning and execution.
  • Design and publish documents and media for a broad audience, including national and international stakeholders.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Possession or ability to obtain one of the following certifications before starting: CCNA Security, CEH, CISSP, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, Project +.
  • At least two years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, InDesign).
  • Proven ability to prepare and produce materials for diverse audiences.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for Top Secret security clearance.
Preferred:
  • Experience in developing and supporting cybersecurity-related products.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.

Salary Range

The typical salary range for this position is $80,000 - $128,000, based on experience and other relevant factors.
