Job Summary

D.R. Horton, Inc., a leading homebuilder in the United States, is seeking an experienced Audio/Visual Installation and Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of audio/visual equipment and systems in our homes and offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and test audio/visual equipment and systems
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for audio/visual equipment and systems
  • Install and integrate audio/visual equipment and systems into our homes and offices
  • Develop and implement audio/visual system designs and plans
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of audio/visual systems with other building systems
  • Perform quality control checks on installed audio/visual systems
  • Document and maintain records of audio/visual system installations and maintenance
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as engineering or technology
  • 1-2 years of experience in audio/visual installation and support
  • Knowledge of audio/visual system design and installation principles
  • Experience with audio/visual equipment and system manufacturers, such as Clear One, Crestron, Extron, Polycom, Sony, and others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Crestron programming
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
