Business Development Senior Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Senior Advisor to join our team at ENGIE. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for developing district energy project opportunities from origination to successful closure. Your primary focus will be on the development of District Heating and Cooling Systems and Major Campuses within the Continental United States.
Key Responsibilities- Develop district energy project opportunities from origination to successful closure
- Coordinate commercial, financial, legal, and technical activities
- Collaborate with the rest of the business development team and internal specialists to create a tangible contribution to ENGIE's expansion in the district energy market
- Coordinate and work with a team of experts during the due diligence and development phases to assess business opportunities
- Originate new opportunities using your network and create new contacts to create opportunities
- Interact with different market participants to identify opportunities
- Lead customer meetings, proposal processes, and contract negotiations
- Ensure strategic alignment with ENGIE's Headquarters and the Energy Solutions Global Business Unit
- Manage the internal approval process, including presentations to Local Management and the Global Business Unit
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience in operations, finance, or business development in a related field
- Experience in district heating and cooling energy systems or power generation design, development, and construction
- Commercial, negotiation, and structuring skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset

We offer a competitive salary range of $146,300.00 – $224,135.00 USD annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with a company match. We also offer generous paid time off, including wellness days, holidays, and leave programs.
