Position Overview

The Software Architect will work with the Solution Architect in deriving the integration and storage technology to be adapted in a particular business capability or a project. This role is responsible for building the technology architecture needed for the project to support business needs. The successful candidate will adopt proven design patterns and best practices, creating various views of the solution architecture to support stakeholder understanding. They will aid Solution Architects in identifying and evaluating technology stack options to confirm technical feasibility, and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, design patterns, and their applicability.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Participate in requirement discussions with relevant stakeholders, creating various views of the architecture and adapting relevant techniques in designing the solution to meet business needs.
  • Influence project team priorities and resolve technical issues.
  • Adhere to the governance framework defined by the architecture board and ensure deliverables are compliant.
  • Identify key areas of complexity in the solution and validate results by building proof-of-concepts if necessary.
  • Research and evaluate technologies, staying aware of new trends that align with enterprise needs.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at developing the Solution Architecture teams at SLK Software Services Pvt LTD, mentoring and coaching teams on the technology selected for development and how various portions of the solution architecture come together.
  • Ensure solutions provided cover all aspects of the business requirement and are implementable, minimizing slippage in project timelines due to design faults and no increase in project costs.
Education Qualification
  1. Degree: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA
  2. Certifications (if any): Technology-related (e.g., Java, Microsoft)
