CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role

This is a full-time position in Washington, DC, where you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary and family care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Order and administer immunizations and injections, including COVID-19, influenza, and TB
  • Provide evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education
  • Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment
  • Meet the requirements for Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Requirements
  • Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and State of Employment license to practice in the Advanced Practice Nurse role
  • Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent
  • Ability to be proficient in both speaking and writing in additional languages, including Spanish (depending on the market)
