Job Title: Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in our workplace health center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary care treatment to employees in an Employer-based setting
  • Offer episodic care, including urgent care and extended episodic acute care
  • Manage chronic conditions and educate patients on self-care and disease management
  • Oversee and perform CLIA waived tests, dispense medications, and collect specimens
  • Collaborate with onsite employees to provide biometric screening and health education
  • Participate in direct health coaching and refer patients to wellness programs
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a Certified NP program
  • Active and unrestricted NP license in Washington DC, with ability to maintain license
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of NP experience, working independently in an internal medicine or family practice setting
  • Ability to practice independently in respective state
  • DEA licensure and prescriptive authority
  • Electronic Health Record experience
  • BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Chronic Disease Management experience
  • Passionate about overall health and wellness and patient education
  • High energy and strong customer-centric focus

This role is located in our workplace health center in Washington DC, with parking provided.
