Job Summary

The Assistant Manager of Health Insurance Enrollment will play a key role in assisting New York residents with enrolling in the NY State of Health Insurance Marketplace. This position will also be responsible for educating the public on the Marketplace and assisting in training new Navigators. Additionally, the successful candidate will manage employees, compile weekly and monthly reports, and assist in program management and promotion to target populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team to achieve contractual goals of 400 contracts monthly
  • Assist the Director in program management and promotion to target populations
  • Assist in achieving all milestones required by the contract
  • Hire, train, and supervise Benefits Navigators
  • Manage partnerships and coordinate between different enrollment sites
  • Assist in program expansion plan and grant research
  • Administer customer satisfaction surveys and collect client stories monthly
  • Maintain NADAP's client database
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • At least 1 year of staff management or supervisory experience
  • At least 2 years experience working with the Health Insurance Marketplace or related health insurance experience
  • Must pass the Navigator training issued by NY State of Health or be already certified
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Approximately 50% travel within NYC boroughs
  • Must be able to work nights and weekend as necessary
  • Bilingual preferred in one of the common languages in NY, such as: Russian, Spanish, Chinese, French, or Korean
Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $65,000/year and a hybrid schedule with 3 days on site and 2 days remote.
