Flight Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Flight Coordinator to join our team at Global Medical Response Inc. As a Flight Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our air ambulance services.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and track flight progress, ensuring timely and accurate communication with flight personnel and other stakeholders.
- Review and verify preflight risk assessments for completeness and accuracy.
- Provide critical flight information to pilots and operational control specialists.
- Respond to customer needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Allocate air resources effectively, applying decision-making rules and approved protocols.
- Maintain accurate and complete records, including paperwork and data entry.
- Generate reports and ensure their accuracy.
- Assist in locating incident scenes and selecting the safest, fastest route.
- Relay instructions and messages from supervisors and other stakeholders.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skilled in reading and writing English.
- Ability to communicate clearly on the radio and telephone.
- Ability to record, transmit, and report information accurately.
- Ability to efficiently utilize all equipment assigned.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good typing skills with speed and accuracy.
- Basic computer application skills.
- Minimal medical training or telecommunications experience (preferred).
