Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft, including dismantling, repairing, and assembling machinery and mechanical devices.
- Exercise authority as an Airman Certificate holder, signing maintenance documents and ensuring compliance with Horizon Air policies and procedures.
- Act as a flight deck coordinator, ensuring safe operation of aircraft systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
- Valid Airframe (A) license.
- Valid Powerplant (P) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues.
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company procedures.
- Adequate complement of own tools.
- Recent experience requirements of 14 CFR.
- Valid passport and driver's license.
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and work varied schedules.
- Ability to obtain airport security clearance and communicate in English.
- Competitive hourly rate of $30.74.
