Aircraft Technician Job Summary

Horizon Air is seeking a skilled Aircraft Technician to join our Maintenance & Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of aircraft, ensuring the highest level of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on aircraft, including dismantling, repairing, and assembling machinery and mechanical devices.
  • Exercise authority as an Airman Certificate holder, signing maintenance documents and ensuring compliance with Horizon Air policies and procedures.
  • Act as a flight deck coordinator, ensuring safe operation of aircraft systems.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
Requirements:
  • Valid Airframe (A) license.
  • Valid Powerplant (P) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues.
  • Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company procedures.
  • Adequate complement of own tools.
  • Recent experience requirements of 14 CFR.
  • Valid passport and driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds and work varied schedules.
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance and communicate in English.
