Job Summary

The Cookie Place Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our cookie store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations and Financial Management
    • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to maximize sales and profits within the store.
    • Recommend marketing initiatives to promote the store and increase customer engagement.
    • Ensure that all store operations and customer service objectives are met in accordance with The Cookie Place Inc standards.
    • Manage all cash handling procedures, including making deposits and maintaining accurate records.
    • Prepare ingredients for baking and decorating, and operate an oven to produce high-quality products.
    • Decorate cookies and cakes with a wide variety of templates and designs.
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the store and all preparation areas.
  • People Management
    • Assist in recruiting, training, and developing store personnel to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
    • Coach and develop associates to meet operational goals and improve customer satisfaction.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive experience for guests.
    • Handle employee performance issues in a fair and timely manner, with supporting documentation.
    • Operate a register and ensure that all cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Administrative Management
    • Ensure that all Company policies and procedures are followed, and that all Federal, State, and Local laws are in compliance.
    • Perform administrative tasks, including paperwork and other duties as required.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of retail and/or food service management experience.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience.
  • 1-2 years of cake decorating experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Must be a team player and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be 18+ years of age.
