Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop hydraulic systems tailored to specific operational needs
  • Research and innovate to enhance existing hydraulic systems
  • Choose suitable components such as pumps, valves, and motors
  • Conduct tests on hydraulic systems to verify safety, efficiency, and performance
  • Diagnose and resolve issues within hydraulic systems
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems
  • Collaborate with fellow engineers to ensure project objectives are met
  • Provide technical assistance to clients and team members
  • Keep abreast of advancements in hydraulic technology and industry developments
  • Assess the feasibility, efficiency, and safety of hydraulic power applications
  • Analyze fluid dynamics, pressure, and velocity in hydraulic systems to identify potential challenges and solutions
  • Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license (preferred)
  • Relevant experience in hydraulic system design and development
  • Strong foundation in fluid mechanics, physics, and mathematics
  • Capability to design and innovate hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with hydraulic components including pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Attention to detail and time management skills
