Job Title: Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at Warehouse Workers, LLC. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing control systems for automated machinery and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and processes.
  • Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to integrate control systems into overall project designs.
  • Perform testing, validation, and commissioning of control systems at customer sites.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in control technologies and apply them to improve our solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in controls engineering, automation, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics and control system design principles.
  • Experience with control software such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex control system issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with robotics and motion control systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automated systems.
  • Understanding of data acquisition and SCADA systems.
