Nurse Resident Position

UW Health is seeking an Ambulatory Nurse Resident to join our prestigious 12-month program, designed to help new graduate nurses transition confidently into practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation program, including mentoring by preceptors and clinical nurse specialists.
- Engage in twice-monthly nurse resident classes with your cohort, focusing on clinical challenges and resource utilization.
- Work within an interdisciplinary team to provide patient care across various stages, from wellness to end-of-life.
- Assume responsibilities such as telephone triage, telehealth opportunities, medication administration, treatments, testing, patient education, and plan development.
Requirements:
- Minimum - Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN or BAN), or Master Degree in Nursing (MSN) completed within the previous 12 months.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin and Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
