Job Summary

We are seeking an Inpatient Nurse Resident to join our prestigious 12-month program, designed to help New Graduate Registered Nurses transition confidently into practice. As a Nurse Resident, you will have the opportunity to work in a wide range of clinical practice areas, including adult and pediatric patient populations, and participate in a comprehensive orientation program with mentoring by preceptors and clinical nurse specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the Nurse Residency Program, a 12-month initiative designed to support new graduate nurses in their transition to practice.
  • Work in a variety of clinical practice areas, including inpatient, emergency department, and surgical services.
  • Collaborate with experienced nurses and clinical nurse specialists to develop your skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in monthly nurse resident classes, where you will meet with clinical experts and problem-solve clinical challenges.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN or BAN), or Master Degree in Nursing (MSN) completed within the previous 12 months.
