Job Title: Family Peer Advocate

Outreach Development Corp. is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time Family Peer Advocate position. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide face-to-face peer services to individuals and their families, promoting recovery, support, advocacy, and skill development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct community outreach and education to reduce stigma around substance use disorder
  • Engage clients in behavioral health services, including substance use disorder treatment
  • Provide NARCAN education kits and make referrals for care
  • Assist program staff in identifying and engaging individuals in need of services
  • Drive Outreach minivan as needed
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of work or volunteer experience in a recovery-oriented setting
  • CRPA or CRPA P certification
  • Lived experience with and knowledge of substance use and mental health challenges
  • Clean driving record
Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment and requires travel among assigned sites and locations. You must be able to use standard office equipment and adapt to changing circumstances.

Compensation:

The salary for this position is $32,000-$42,000 per year, depending on experience.
