Director of Asset Management

Our client, a leading player in the mixed-use development space, is seeking an experienced Director of Asset Management to lead their Asset Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mixed-use asset management, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and delivering results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance to the Asset Management team, ensuring seamless execution of asset management plans.
  • Develop and implement effective asset management strategies, focusing on operational efficiency, risk management, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including property management, leasing, and finance teams, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Conduct site visits to assess asset performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in asset management, with a focus on mixed-use, multifamily, and/or retail assets.
  • Proven track record of delivering operational excellence, driving revenue growth, and improving asset performance.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, with experience in building and executing strategic plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
