Director of Asset Performance Management Products

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned product leader to drive the development and execution of our Asset Performance Management (APM) product suite. As the Director of APM Products, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and beyond. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive product strategy, prioritize initiatives, and collaborate effectively across departments to ensure our products exceed customer expectations and drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Work closely with Technology, Sales, Deployments, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and other Product Line teams to deliver cohesive and successful solutions.
  • Conduct market research, voice-of-customer, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and trends, guiding product roadmap decisions.
  • Define and prioritize products, modules, and features based on customer feedback, data analysis, and strategic priorities.
  • Drive the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet user needs and business requirements.
  • Lead successful launches, coordinating with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and achieve revenue targets.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and pain points, advocating for the customer throughout the product development process.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in product management with at least 3 years in a leadership role, ideally in a B2B software environment.
  • Alternatively, 8+ years of experience in renewable asset management, portfolio management, or operations management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of renewable energy and power systems: solar PV or battery energy storage in the commercial, industrial, or utility sector.
  • Willingness to attend recurring meetings during business hours in India.
  • Experience working in an Agile engineering organization is a plus.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Figma are a plus.
