About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Regional Sales Manager to join our team at DoorDash. As a key member of our Outside Sales organization, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of sales professionals who will drive the acquisition of top-tier merchants across our expanding Caviar marketplace.

As a Strategic Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a regional sales strategy that aligns with our company's growth objectives. You will work closely with our Merchant and Partner teams to create a white-glove onboarding experience for our top merchants, sell new products and services into these merchants, and share learnings about their pain points with our Merchant S&O and Product teams to inform our product roadmap.

About the Team

You will report to the Senior Manager on our Strategic Regional Sales team and will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals who will be responsible for winning deals with our top merchants. You will work closely with our Director of Strategic Regional Sales, Post-Sale, and Service teams to ensure a seamless handoff and service process for our merchants.

Responsibilities
  • Build and lead a team of sales professionals who will drive the acquisition of top-tier merchants across our expanding Caviar marketplace.
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy that aligns with our company's growth objectives.
  • Work closely with our Merchant and Partner teams to create a white-glove onboarding experience for our top merchants.
  • Sell new products and services into our top merchants.
  • Share learnings about our merchants' pain points with our Merchant S&O and Product teams to inform our product roadmap.
  • Lead weekly Caviar and DoorDash Ace and King pipeline reviews across your regions.
  • Report out on highlights, lowlights, and provide detailed action plans to maintain and accelerate the performance of your team.

  • Have a sphere of influence with leaders throughout the Merchant and other partner organizations.
  • Be responsible for driving results, influencing the direction of the team's strategic plan, and shaping policies to aid in the execution of the strategic plan.
