Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Oversees the daily operations of the program, ensuring that all aspects are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Student Support: Provides support to students in a respectful and friendly manner, addressing issues and concerns as needed.
  • Faculty Collaboration: Collaborates with the administrators and faculty team to address student disciplinary issues, serves as a resource and support for faculty, and collaborates with administrators to address faculty issues and concerns.
  • Communication: Facilitates effective communication between the office, faculty, and students, and directs the management of general office coordination.
  • Student Records: Coordinates the maintenance of student records in accordance with College, State, and Federal regulations, and maintains confidentiality in all aspects of student, faculty, staff, and college information.
  • Resource Management: Collaborates with the administrative assistant staff to manage resources and supplies for the school.
  • Curriculum Development: Attends and provides leadership in faculty and departmental meetings to develop, evaluate, and revise curriculum and policies to achieve end-of-program student learning outcomes and program outcomes.
  • Evaluation and Reporting: Collaborates with administrators and faculty to facilitate the development and implementation of the plan of evaluation using appropriate data, and implement data-driven revisions of courses and the overall program.
  • Accreditation and Compliance: Collaborates with administrators to collect, maintain, and analyze aggregated outcomes data required to achieve end-of-program student learning outcomes and program outcomes, and develops reports required for state and national accreditations.
  • Student Orientation and Mentorship: Provides orientation for students and faculty that are new to the program, and provides mentorship for new faculty.
  • Faculty Supervision and Evaluation: Provides supervision and evaluation of faculty, and collaborates with administrators in the annual budget preparation process for the program.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in healthcare administration.
  • Certification/Registration: Current certification or registration in any of the following industries: medical billing, coding, or administration, revenue cycle, or healthcare administration, or other related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum three (3) years of management experience, teaching experience, and distance education experience.
