Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Payroll Specialist to oversee full-cycle payroll processing for a diverse workforce, which includes up to 800 employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for up to 800 employees, focusing on multi-state and union payroll.
- Manage payroll for approximately 300 union employees, ensuring strict compliance with CBAs and company policies.
- Handle complex, project-based payroll across different divisions, including processing terminations as required.
- Analyze payroll data and generate insightful reports using advanced Excel functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
- Manage and resolve complex payroll issues, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing, with a strong emphasis on union payroll.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now.
- Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Union payroll knowledge is a plus.
- Outgoing and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a rapidly growing, dynamic environment.
